Located on California’s beautiful central coast, we’re a first-generation ranch specializing in registered Dexter cattle, a heritage breed historically valued as a true dual- or even tri-purpose animal. Once nearly extinct in the mid-20th century, Dexters are enjoying renewed popularity among small farms and homesteads for their size and versatility. While recent breeding trends have split milk and beef lines, our goal is to restore the historic Dexter: a balanced, productive cow for both milk and meat. This journey requires time, care, and patience, but the results—a cow with character, efficiency, and gentleness—are worth every effort.
